...And Some Unsolicited Advice for Bush's "Opposition"

Since everything now seems to go down the memory hole within a few months at most, it is instructive to take a look back periodically at what was available in the public record at various times. Despite the notable failures of our media, and despite our media’s willingness to put themselves at the disposal of the Bush administration and carry the propaganda line of the day or month throughout the land, stories have appeared that tell at least part of the truth. But almost no one seems to notice and, if they do, their voices are drowned out in the cacophony of much louder voices heralding “victory” and “mission accomplished,” and that even if it is “hard work,” we are “winning.”
