House Reaches Deal to Vote on Derivatives Bill, Frank Says
Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Democrats reached a deal on “most issues” in a House of Representative plan to rein in the $605 trillion over-the-counter derivatives market and will vote next week, Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank said.
Few differences remain between bills from the House Financial Services and House Agriculture Committees, Frank told reporters outside a hearing today in Washington.
